Intricately detailed mid-century Portuguese filigree brooch shaped as a three-masted caravel ship with red enamel crosses on the sails.
Handcrafted gilt openwork metal with rope-style rigging and ornate sail detail. The "rope is still with this piece a lot of times it is missing.
Measures approximately 2.5 in by 2 in.
Clasp note: rollover locking piece is missing, so it functions as an antique-style C-clasp. The pin still fastens securely. Filigree, rigging, and enamel are all intact.
Circa: 1950s – 1960s
Condition: Good vintage condition with natural aged patina and missing lock as noted.
